Processing of Certificates

Effective January 13 and in compliance with the requirements of the Authentication Department of Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy will only process DFA-Manila Authentication Certificates with original· documents that include birth certificates,· marriage certificates, certificates of singleness, diplomas, transcripts of records, certifications, among others.
The purpose of this is to avoid the proliferation of fake documents.

All Filipino passport holders are advised to renew their passport
six (6) months before its expiration.
For those who will travel, they have to renew their passport
eight (8) months before it expires. Immigration authorities
require that whenever a person travels abroad, his/her passport
is at least six months valid beyond the contemplated period
of stay
