ANNOUNCEMENT
The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the public that the affected areas of Typhoon “Sendong” are in the early recovery stage. The following are identified as priority needs:
- Tents
- Tents to house medical stations
- Blankets
- Folding Beds
- Temporary Shelters
- Cooking Utensils
- Galvanized Iron (GI) sheets for shelter roofing
- Generators
- School supplies for children
The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) is the focal point for the logistical requirements for the transport of humanitarian supplies coursed through government agencies:
